Crestview

Crestview sits to the north of Portage Ave, bounded by Buchanan Ave to the west, Saskatchewan Ave to the north, and Sturgeon Creek to the east. There are several entry points along Portage Ave, though Cavalier Dr is the only street that also enters off Saskatchewan Ave, and has an available bus route.

Crestview covers a fairly large area, with a handful of schools, a community centre, and quite the bundle of parks and playgrounds.

• Harvlong / Topaz Park sits at the intersection between Harvlong Ave and Topaz Rd, featuring a playground and a small open area.
• Lake Ridge Park is nestled in the residential area off Lake Ridge Rd, featuring a playground and an open area.
• The Lakewood Recreation Area shares space with Lakewood School grounds, featuring several athletic fields just off Galbraith Cres.
• South Lake Park offers pathways passing by a pond, just off South Lake Dr.
• The Gibraltar Playground is found just off Gibraltar Bay, behind the Crestview Park Free Methodist Church.
• Voyageur Park shares space with Voyageur School grounds off Voyageur Ave, featuring a large open area, a playround, and an outdoor fitness node.
• Rogan Drive Park is nestled in the residential area off Rogan Dr, featuring a playground and open area.
• The Buchanan site of the Assiniboia West Recreation Association is found along the east side Buchanan Blvd, featuring a pair of hockey rinks next to the athletic fields of Buchanan School, Hedges Middle School, and John Taylor Collegiate.
• Corbett Park sits next to Hedges Middle School along Corbett Dr, featuring a playground.
• Costello Park is nestled in the residential area off Costello Dr, featuring a playground and a hilly open area.
• The Morgan site of the Assiniboia West Recreation Association is found along Morgan Cres, sharing space with Crestview School grounds. It features two hockey rinks and a playground, next to the school athletic fields.
• Muriel / Sage Park sits along the west side of Muriel St, featuring a playground and plenty of benches.
• Ridley Park is nestled in the residential area off Ridley Pl, featuring a playground and a small open area.
