Heritage Park
Heritage Park runs along the eastern shore of Sturgeon Creek, south of Saskatchewan Ave and west of Sturgeon Rd.
The neighbourhood is split into three sections at the intersection of Hamilton Ave and Silver Ave, with Crestview Village in the northwest, Apple Lane and Quail Ridge in the northeast, and Heritage in the south.
Along with the Sturgeon Creek Parkway and Heritage Victoria Community Centre, there are a handful of parks and playgrounds scattered throughout the neighbourhood:
- Goodridge Park is a playground nestled in the residential area on the west side of Goodridge Cres.
- The Saskatchewan section of the Sturgeon Creek Parkway runs from Saskatchewan Ave to the curve of Hamilton Ave, featuring tennis courts at each end and a hill suitable for tobogganing.
- Pat Phillips Park is nestled in beside École Roméo Dallaire grounds, featuring a playground, outdoor fitness nodes, and several athletic fields.
- The Sturgeon Road Athletic Fields offer a bundle of soccer fields, off the west side of Sturgeon Rd, north of Silver Ave.
- Uplands Crescent Park is a playground found on the north side of Carriage Rd.
- The Heritage Victoria Community Centre is found on the west side of Sturgeon Rd, across from Woodgreen Pl. The grounds feature two hockey rinks, a basketball and tennis court, a playground, a skatepark, and several athletic fields.
- Kirky / Setter Park is a playground found at the south end of Setter St, with a pathway leading down to the Sturgeon Creek Parkway.
