Fort Garry lies in the southwest quadrant of Winnipeg, along the west shore of the Red River. It is bounded to the west by a set of railroad tracks until they meet Brady Road, which it follows south to the border of the municipality of Ritchot. The main east-west thoroughfares are Sterling Lyon Pkwy (Route 145), McGillivray Blvd (Route 155), Bishop Grandin Blvd (Route 165), and the south Perimeter Hwy. The main north-south thoroughfares are Kenaston Blvd (Route 90), Waverley St (Route 80), and Pembina Hwy (Route 42).
